MenuWiper is a system extension
that causes the Finder’s menu bar to slide down the
screen, erasing it, as the Finder exits. The menu bar then
glides back down from the top of the screen (without any
menus in it), and the name of the application being
launched slides onto the screen, from right to left,
winding up in the center of the screen (instead of just
appearing in the center of the screen).
It serves absolutely no useful purpose whatsoever, but
it’s fun to watch.
